Get to know Tumelo
We're a global fintech that's changing the landscape of stewardship and investor voting.
We're winning awards for our innovative technology and amazing people, and attracting investment from major names in the industry.
Our story
Tumelo was established at Cambridge University where our founders Will Goodwin, Georgia Stewart, and Ben King, pushed for greater transparency of their university’s £6 billion endowment fund and its investments.
After university, their interest in investment transparency led them into the world of shareholder voting. They soon recognised a two-pronged problem with the current proxy-voting system: fund managers having little visibility over their clients' voting preferences; investors feeling disengaged from their assets and potential impact on global markets.
So they set out to create a better voting infrastructure.
Our mission
To build technology for fund managers and their clients to make stewardship impactful.
We believe that our technology has the potential to create a more transparent and representative stewardship process, which will lead to better outcomes for investors and the industry as a whole.
With our pass-through voting and expression-of-wish products, we provide fund managers with voting technology that enables them to offer their institutional and retail clients a more flexible, inclusive and empowering stewardship experience.
